Being a national design-build general contractor for the federal government, K-Con works across the country even in the US territories. Recently, however, K-Con provided the Charleston School of the Arts in North Charleston with a pre-engineered metal building for athletic storage. Although not K-Con’s first local job, we were happy to have another chance to work in our own back yard. K-Con was also proud to supply a NUCOR steel building (a local company located in Swansea) for this project.
The 1,800 sq ft athletic storage building includes interior caging storage areas, as well as a locked exterior caged storage area. With overhead doors for ease of loading and unloading sports equipment, the facility provides safe and secure storage and protection from the elements.
