K-Con Site Superintendents are K-Con Employees

Yes it’s true. Unlike a number of other general contractors, even other GC’s working in government contracting, use sub consultants for their site managers. Not at K-Con; our superintendents, quality assurance managers, and safety managers are direct K-Con employees – many of them with more than 20 years of building/construction project supervisory experience. For your project, K-Con’s superintendents will be certified in First Aid, CPR, and OSHA 30HR, and will have metal building training.  All safety plans will be in accordance with EM-385, and the superintendent trained to adhere with those practices.

A project site superintendent/manager wears many hats and fulfills many essential tasks during the course of a project, both for K-Con and the client/end users. When asked what makes K-Con site superintendents excellent, they responded:

  • Attitude – a honest, head-in-the-game focus every day all day long with regard to their many responsibilities
  • Honesty – forthright information with customer(s) and other reps in the field
  • Integrity – with contract submittals, documentation, with the company and end users’ best interest in mind
  • Project Schedule – one component of any construction project that has the potential to either ensure success or bring it to a crashing halt

The project superintendents here at K-Con are family and do a great job making it possible for K-Con to remain your choice for military and federal buildings for storage, administration, training, workshops, and more.
