Assistant Superintendent
As an Assistant Superintendent, you’ll support daily field operations, working closely with the Superintendent to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to expand their construction management experience and contribute directly to successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Support the Superintendent in managing day-to-day site operations and subcontractor activities.
- Documentation & Reporting: Assist with daily reports, weather tracking, safety logs, and progress documentation.
- Quality Control: Capture and organize jobsite photos for documentation, quality verification, and marketing purposes.
- Materials & Equipment: Help inspect deliveries, track inventory, and verify the condition of rental equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Support the site-specific Safety Plan, participate in safety meetings, and ensure jobsite housekeeping and PPE compliance.
- Scheduling Support: Assist in maintaining and communicating project schedules and Look Ahead Schedules.
- Team Communication: Collaborate effectively with the Superintendent, Project Manager, and subcontractors to keep projects on track.
- Field Problem Solving: Identify and communicate potential issues early, helping resolve them efficiently.
Qualifications
- CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous field experience in construction preferred (at least 2 years)
- Proficiency in basic computer and documentation tools.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Working knowledge of reading blueprints and project specifications.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards, safety protocols, and building codes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Estimator
As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in the project planning process by analyzing costs and resources needed for construction projects. You’ll prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment — ensuring that every project is delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project documents, drawings, and specifications to determine materials and labor needs
- Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and cost calculations
- Develop and maintain budget proposals and cost control measures
- Prepare bids and proposals, ensuring competitive and accurate pricing
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain and evaluate quotes
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to communicate cost details
- Identify and manage project risks and contingencies
- Maintain accurate cost documentation and leverage historical data for forecasting
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field; Master’s or certifications preferred.
- 7-10 years in construction estimating and pre-construction management.
- Experience with Design-Build projects in Commercial, Light Industrial, and Federal sectors.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software (Procore, Bluebeam, WinEst) and MS Office.
- Knowledge of federal contracting regulations is a plus.

Superintendent
As a Construction Superintendent, you will play a critical role in managing and coordinating all aspects of commercial and light industrial construction projects. You’ll work closely with our internal team, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives to ensure every project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. This position requires proven experience overseeing Design/Build projects across both commercial and light industrial sectors, including manufacturing facilities, warehouses, office buildings, and mixed-use developments. Experience with Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) or the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is preferred. You will be responsible for supervising job sites, maintaining strict compliance with safety regulations, managing project schedules, and fostering clear communication across all stakeholders. The ability to travel regularly is essential, as projects are located throughout the U.S. The home office is based in Charleston, SC.

- Foster a culture of safety by enforcing strict adherence to safety protocols, conducting safety meetings, and promoting a safe working environment.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing any concerns or issues promptly, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely project reports, including progress reports, safety reports, and other required documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, codes, and permit requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, specifically in Design/Build projects, preferably with Naval Facilities Engineering or U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices, with a focus on federal construction projects.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with all project stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and other project documentation.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
- Willingness and ability to travel to project sites throughout the U.S. on a regular basis.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
